KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police on Thursday claimed to have tracked down three suspected robbers after 'encounters' in two different areas.
In Momin Abad area, police arrested two alleged robbers after an exchange of fire. In the shoot, a robber sustained injuries. He was admitted to hospital, and his accomplice was taken by the area police for investigation. The bandits were identified as Gul Muhammad and Irfan.
A motorcycle, weapons, bullet and snatched valuables have been seized from them. Further investigation was underway.
In Malir City, a robber was apprehended after an encounter, whereas his accomplice managed to flee. Police received information that two suspected robbers robbed citizens of their valuables and escaped.
Police chased them and arrested one of them after a brief encounter. He was identified as Shahjahan. He was sent to hospital. Police were making efforts to reach out to fleeing bandit.
