LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Saturday emphasised the invaluable role of overseas Pakistanis in the development of the nation.
The CM made these remarks during a meeting with Member of National Assembly Naseer Ahmed Abbas. During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest and the progress of development projects. The issues related to the resolution of problems faced by overseas Pakistanis were also highlighted. Malik Noor Awan, President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Japan chapter, was also present at the meeting.
The CM reaffirmed that the PML-N firmly believes in politics of public service. She assured that all available resources are being used for the development of every region and the welfare of the people. Under the "Model Village Project," high-quality facilities are being provided to rural areas.
She also shared that 12,000 kilometers of roads have been constructed and rehabilitated across Punjab. Additionally, over 10 million patients have benefited from field hospitals and "Clinics on Wheels" services. The government is taking steps to address the issues faced by overseas Pakistanis.
