ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said all possible measures are being taken to safeguard overseas Pakistanis' interests.
He was talking to Chairman Overseas Foundation Syed Qamar Raza, who called on him in Islamabad on Friday.
The acting president said that overseas Pakistanis are playing key role in country's development through their remittances.
He said overseas Pakistanis are precious asset of country and their issues should be resolved on priority basis.
Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani said steps are also being taken to protect properties of the overseas Pakistanis. He said approval of a bill to set up special courts to protect overseas Pakistanis' properties is a significant development.

He said that the special courts would dispose of cases pertaining to illegal occupation of overseas Pakistanis' properties within ninety days.
