Imran wants nation should protest against lawlessness: Aleema Khan

Khan also urged legal fraternity to start movement like they did during Gen Pervez Musharraf regime

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - PTI founder Imran Khan's sister Aleema Khan shared Imran's message said that the nation should protest against the lawlessness prevailing in the country.

Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Aleema Khan, conveyed her brother's message urging the nation to stand against what he described as lawlessness in the country.

Addressing journalists, Aleema stated that Imran Khan had directed his message towards the legal fraternity, citing the lawyers' movement during General Pervez Musharraf’s era. “Imran Khan has reminded lawyers that they once spearheaded a movement for judicial independence,” she said, “but now, the judiciary has been compromised. Why isn't a similar movement happening now?”

According to Aleema, Imran Khan's call to the public is clear: “Raise your voice for your rights, stand up against the prevailing chaos, and be prepared for sacrifice. The time has come to rise for freedom.”

She further added that Imran Khan’s message regarding the upcoming rally on November 9 is a call for unity among all PTI lawmakers. “Imran Khan has instructed all MNAs and MPAs to attend the rally, stressing that there is no room in the party for those who shy away from the protest movement,” Aleema stated.

She noted that an action plan for the party's future will be unveiled at the event.
