ISLAMABAD (APP) - The price of 24 karat per tola gold increased by Rs2,000 and was sold at Rs278,800 on Friday compared to its sale at Rs276,800 on last trading day.
The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also increased by Rs1,715 to Rs239,026 from Rs237,311 whereas the price of 10 gram 22 karat gold went up to Rs219,107 from Rs217,535, the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.
The price of per tola and ten gram silver remained unchanged at Rs3,300 and Rs2,829.21 respectively.
The price of gold in the international market increased by $21 to $2,683 from $2,662 last day, the association reported.
Meanwhile, Pakistani rupee appreciated by 21 paisa against the US dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs 277.73 against the previous day’s closing of Rs277.94.
However, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs 277.30 and Rs 278.80 respectively.
The price of Euro increased by 03 paisa to close at Rs 298.94 against the last day’s closing of Rs 298.91, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
