Mohsin Naqvi inaugurates 'Cascade' Khidmat Markaz in Diplomatic Enclave

Multiple services will be provided under one roof to ambassadors, foreign nationals

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has inaugurated ‘Cascade’ Khidmat Markaz in the Diplomatic Enclave to facilitate diplomats.

It is the first time in the history of Pakistan that the latest Khidmat Markaz established that will provide more than 12 services under one roof to foreign nationals and the diplomatic community. The service including issuance, renewal of driving license, general police verification, character certificate, missing report and registration can be availed under one roof.

Foreigners’ registration, house helps registrations, vehicles verification, FIR copy can be accessed at ‘CASCADE.’

Under the vision of PM Shehbaz Sharif, ambassadors, foreign nationals are being facilitated and provided safety and security. Mohsin Naqvi stated that provision of security facilities showcased their vision of service.

The establishment of Khidmat Markaz would further strengthen cooperation between law enforcement agencies and ambassadors, Naqvi stressed.

More than 1500 police and FC personnel and 20 police vehicles have been deployed for security of the diplomatic enclave.

The Minister for Interior visited Cascade Khidmat Markaz along with ambassadors and reviewed various counters and services. Islamabad IG briefed about the facilities being provided to foreign nationals.

Ambassadors and foreign nationals paid gratitude to Mohsin Naqvi for the establishment of Cascade Khidmat Markaz in the Diplomatic Enclave.

Various ambassadors, Federal Secretary for Interior, Islamabad DC, and senior officers of Islamabad Police attended the inauguration ceremony of Cascade.
