LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore on Friday accepted bail pleas of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan in 4 cases related to May 9 riots.
Justice Arshad Javed of the ATC conducted hearing of the bail pleas filed by former premier Khan.
The court, however, disposed of the plea by PTI founder's lawyer Salman Safdar seeking more time for the arguments.
Justice Javed disposed of the plea by saying that the lawyers were given ample time to argue but they did not argue within the due time and asked Punjab Prosecutor general to start his arguments.
The Punjab prosecutor general accused the PTI founder of urging the PTI followers to attack military installations if he were caught.
The court reserved the verdict after hearing arguments from Shah.
Later, the court accepted Khan's bail pleas in cases including setting the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) office and a container on fire.
