LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz has introduced a prize package for farmers to increase the yield of wheat.
Punjab CM announced free tractors and land levellers for wheat farmers.
Around 1000 land-levellers would be distributed to farmers cultivating wheat at 12 to 25 acres land while farmers cultivating wheat on 25 acres land would be given 1000 green tractors.
The tractors and land levellers would be provided through lucky draw.
Wheat farmers can consult agriculture website and Facebook page to apply for free green tractors and land levellers.
They can also contact the Department of Agriculture office for and inquiry and application process.
Farmers could get seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, without any interest through Kissan Card.
Punjab CM committed to support farmers and take measures for their development.
She asserted that farmer’s prosperity and revival of the agriculture sector were the first and foremost priority.
