ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi reached Islamabad on Monday for a two-day official visit to Pakistan, according to the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan.
During his visit, the Iranian foreign minister will hold meetings with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, said the foreign ministry in a statement.
Araghchi will hold consultations on the situation in the Middle East and Pakistan-Iran bilateral relations, the statement added.
The foreign ministry said that the visit provides an important opportunity to advance cooperation and dialogue between Pakistan and Iran on a wide range of areas, including trade, economics, energy, and security.
