PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced reviving student unions in the province, highlighting empowerment of youth as essential for the national progress.
Speaking at the ceremony of the government colleges’ solarization project at the Govt College Peshawar, he emphasised that the youth are Pakistan’s valuable assets, committed to reviving student unions to align with PTI’s founder’s vision.
The CM also addressed issues of autonomy and justice, asserting that Pakistan’s real freedom lied in self-dependence and decision-making.
The solarization initiative will see 10 KVA solar system installation in 80 government colleges, significantly reducing monthly electricity bills and paying for itself in under three years, he explained.

He said this project aimed to increase substantially and financial saving for educational institutions.
