ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Wednesday recommended the names of party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Farooq Naik for judicial commission, Dunya News reported.
The 13-member Judicial Commission will include two members each from the government and the opposition, as mandated by the 26th Amendment. The government is expected to submit its nominees today (Thursday).
Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has nominated Omar Ayub (from the National Assembly) and Syed Shibli Faraz (from the Senate) for the judicial commission.
The law minister and attorney general are already part of the commission. The Prime Minister’s Office had requested the submission of names for the judicial commission's formation.
