HAFIZABAD (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz ordered strict action to reduce crime rate and tackle corruption.
She expressed these views during her visit to Hafizabad. The CM directed local authorities to remove corrupt police officials and maintain a zero-tolerance policy on wrongdoing.
Briefed on district projects and security, CM Maryam praised Deputy Commissioner Abdul Razzaq for his efforts. She instructed officials to continue the crackdown on drug dealers, set up zebra crossings outside schools, and clean the drainage system.
To support farmers, she promised better seeds, fertilisers, and pesticides. Additionally, she pushed for the swift completion of the local flyover and the filling of vacant posts to improve public services.

The CM also directed to act strictly against the drug dealers and the corrupt revenue officials.
She also ordered the DC to conduct regular visits to the hospitals and to repair the damaged roads. The DC was also directed to visit the district jails and make the village the model places.
Maryam Nawaz also announced rewards for top-performing officials, focused on reducing crimes against children and women, ensuring dengue and polio prevention efforts stay strong.
