CJP Yahya Afridi calls full court session today

Around 140 cases were fixed for proceedings in the CJP court for one week

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi has called first full court session today (Monday) after assuming office.  According to sources, the session will be held at 1pm and concerns of judges and other judicial matters will be discussed in the session. 

Justice Mansoor Ali Shah will not be part of the session as he is on leave to perform Umrah.  CJP Afridi will hear the cases and a cause list has already been issued. 

Around 968 cases have been fixed for hearing from today until Nov 1. Eight regular benches in the Supreme Court will deal with these cases. 

As many as 140 cases were fixed for proceedings in CJP's court for one week.
