LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Sunday announced separate national squads for the upcoming tours of Australia and Zimbabwe.
The PCB stated that former captain Babar Azam, Naseem Shah, and Shaheen Shah Afridi will be part of the squad for the Australia series but will be rested for the Zimbabwe matches.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Rizwan will play all matches against Australia and participate only in the ODIs against Zimbabwe.
The PCB announced that Australia’s tour would take place from Nov 4 to 8, while matches in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, are scheduled from Nov 24 to Dec 5.
The PCB also stated that the decision to rest players aligns with the selectors' rotation policy, which aims to give domestic performers a chance and support the team’s strategy for the ICC Champions Trophy and future tournaments.
