ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday congratulated the national cricket team on winning the Test series against England.
Pakistan won the third and decisive match of the Test series against England.
"The national cricket team played very well against England. I congratulate the whole nation and team on winning the series," said the president.
He hoped that the team would come up with more good performances in future.

The prime minister also congratulated the Pakistan cricket team on winning a home series against England.
"The fervour and teamwork of Pakistan cricket team has made the nation proud. We are very happy on the success of our team," he expressed his elation.
He also wished good luck to the Pakistan team for future.
PCB CHAIRMAN MOHSIN NAQVI
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chaimran Mohsin Naqvi was all praise for the national cricket team on winning the Rawalpindi Test match and the series.
"National cricket players earned victory by presenting a great game. Sajid Khan and Noman Ali did excellent bowling and Saud Shakeel showed good batting and scored a century," said PCB chairman.
He said the victory would raise the morale of the players. Young and emerging stars proved with their performance that their selection was a right decision, he said.
"Along with the players the nation was also waiting for such a convincing victory," Naqvi added.
