JHELUM (Dunya News) – Incarcerated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Founder Imran Khan’s sisters were freed from Jhelum Jail on Friday.
PTI supporters, as well as members of their family, gathered outside the district jail to welcome Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan.
Shehroz, son of Aleema Khan, was also present outside the jail.
Judge Abu Al-Hasanat Zulqarnain ordered the release of the sisters of the PTI founder.
They had been in custody since October 4th in connection with the Kohsar Police Station case.
Earlier, the bail of both sisters were approved in two cases registered at the Kohsar Police Station by an Islamabad anti-terrorism court.
The court heard the case related to the D-Chowk protest. Bail was granted on surety bonds of Rs20,000 each.
