(Web Desk) – Pakistan is likely to make one change in playing XI for the third Test match against England, which will be played in Rawalpindi from Thursday.
The selectors are mulling to replace leg-spinner Zahid Mahmood with fast bowler Muhammad Ali.
Sources indicated that the reverse swing by pacer could give an advantage to Pakistan in the upcoming match.
Muhammad Ali has been bowling in the nets for two days with a full run-up under the supervision of coaches.
Earlier in the day, England named playing XI for the test match, making two changes from the second Test’s squad.
It is recalled that Pakistan won the second Test at Multan Cricket Stadium to level the series 1-1. Spinners Noman Ali and Sajid Khan shared all 20 England wickets among them, helping their side secure first victory at home subce 2021.
