Afghanistan hinders global connectivity by muzzling media

Critics argue that such repressive policies promote extremism

KABUL (Web Desk) - The interim Afghan government has imposed a ban on television channels showing images of animals. 

This initiative of the Afghan government is a reflection of their conservative approach, which through its repressive actions, aims to take Afghanistan backward. The Taliban have hindered the global connectivity by muzzling voice of Afghan press.

The interim government has curbed the rights of Afghans to express human experience by imposing a blanket ban on visual stories. 

The obsolete policies of the Afghan interim government are isolating Afghans from global realities and pushing them towards dangerous isolation. 

The critics argue that such repressive policies, which promote extremism, not only threaten Afghan society but are also hazardous for regional peace.

The policies of the Afghan government demonstrate that rulers are unaware of people's needs. The Taliban's steps are hindering Afghanistan's cultural and creative growth, disconnecting it from l development.
