LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif chaired a meeting on Monday where she received a detailed briefing on “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” programme.
It was reported that house construction has begun across Punjab, with beneficiaries in districts like Lahore and Kasur starting construction within a record time of two months after receiving the first installment.
The chief minister directed that the release of the second installment must be ensured on schedule.
Over 550,000 people have accessed the programme’s portal, with nearly 400,000 applications received.
Maryam Nawaz emphasised that providing housing for the poor remains her top priority.
