LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a show cause notice to Fakhar Zaman for his tweet regarding Babar Azam being dropped.
Zaman criticised the selection committee's decision to drop Babar for the second and third Test matches against England.
In his message on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Zaman pointed out that India did not drop Virat Kohli despite his poor form from 2020 to 2023.
He emphasised that dropping Pakistan's best batter sent a negative message and urged the management to protect their players instead of making decisions out of panic.
The PCB has directed Fakhar Zaman to submit a response by October 21 regarding the notice.
