MELBOURNE (Dunya News) - Cricket Australia has announced the Australian squad for the upcoming ODI series against Pakistan.
Team Pakistan would tour Australia next month in November, where three ODIs and three T20 matches would be played between the two teams.
Pat Cummins would lead the Australian team in the ODI series, which includes players such as Sean Abbott, Cooper Connolly, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Aaron Hardie, Josh Hazlewood, Josh Inglis, Marnus Labuschagne, Glenn Maxwell, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Matthew Short, Marcus Stoinis, and Adam Zampa.
Notably, Australian cricketers Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head have been excluded from the squad due to parental leave.
Chief Selector George Bailey commented that this is the last ODI series before the Champions Trophy, and efforts have been made to maintain balance in the squad.
He added that this series offers an opportunity to enhance the squad's experience ahead of the Champions Trophy scheduled in Pakistan in February.
The ODIs are set to be played on November 4, 8, and 10, with the announcement for the T20 squad to follow later.
