Some sources have also revealed that PCB was unhappy over Zaman’s post.

He emphasised that removing one of Pakistan's best batters sent a negative message. He urged the decision-makers to protect their players rather than act out of panic.

A PCB source revealed that the top board officials were not pleased with the tweet sent out by Fakhar and relevant persons were having a word with him about it.

It is noteworthy that the PCB decided to drop Babar Azam, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Shaheen Afridi, and Naseem Shah from the team for the upcoming two Test matches against England.
