ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Sunday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was blackmailing the State to grant permission to meet Imran Khan.
In his post on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Khawaja Asif said that the PTI wants facilitation to hold a meeting with PTI founder and for this purpose the party is blackmailing the government.
The Defence Minister said that the PTI was threatening to sabotage the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit.
Khawaja Asif said that former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Nawaz Sharif was not allowed to speak to his ailing wife on telephone who died while battling with cancer in a London hospital.
