OKARA (Dunya News) – Robbers of Katcha area honeytrapped an old man and demanded Rs10million for his release, Dunya News reported here on Thursday.
Liaquat Ali was caught hold by the bandits, who filmed him naked. They tortured him and sent his video to his loved ones, showing him crying and weeping in pain.
With the clip, the outlaws demanded ransom from the family of the abductee. The relatives of the old man have appealed to Punjab CM, IGP, and authorities concerned to get him released from the clutches of the outlaws.
The torture video of the man circulated on social media. Police have taken notice of the incident and started search for the outlaws.

No let-up in increasing incidents of robbery, snatching and street crimes in Karachi as a clip featuring two bikers snatching a bag from a woman makes rounds on social media.
In the clip, two outlaws could be seen snatching a bag from a woman in PIB. The suspects ran away after depriving the woman of her bag.
Having being informed, police concerned reached the crime scene and started investigation.
Law enforcers were taking assistance from CCTV footage to reach out to the criminals. A case has been registered on the complaint of the woman.
