LAHORE (Web Desk) - The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has introduced a new position, Head of Youth Development.
The PCB has issued an advertisement for the Head of Youth Development role, which would be responsible for promoting cricket development from Under-13 to Under-19 levels.
This position would involve working with regional academies, coaches, and associations to scout talent and establish a grassroots structure to discover young talent across the country.
Candidates for the Head of Youth Development must have a minimum of 50 Test or One Day International matches and hold a PCB Level 2 accreditation.
Applications for this position could be submitted until Oct 24.
The PCB aimed to bring in renowned former cricketer for this role.
Sources indicated that the PCB Chairman has recently held meetings with former cricketers regarding this position, with Azhar Ali being a strong contender.
