Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly session rescheduled today

In yesterday's session, members of the government and opposition clashed violently.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly session has been summoned again today (Wednesday).

According to a statement from the Assembly Secretariat, the session is scheduled for 3 PM today, after previously being adjourned until October 14.

It is noteworthy that in yesterday's session, members of the government and opposition clashed violently. Opposition members became frustrated over not getting the floor to speak, leading to a physical clash among the assembly members.

A scuffle broke out between PTI member Naik Wazir and PTI parliamentarian Iqbal Wazir. As the two members grappled, their supporters also joined the fray, resulting in significant disorder in the assembly.

Due to the chaos, the Speaker announced a 15-minute break, and later adjourned the session until Monday, October 14, at 3 PM.

Following this, the Speaker called both MPAs, Iqbal Wazir and Naik Muhammad, to his chamber and facilitated a reconciliation between the two parties, with other members from both the opposition and government also present.
