LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said on Tuesday the government was utilising all possible resources to tackle natural calamities.
In her message on Natural Disaster Awareness Day, she said the adverse impacts of any calamity could be minimised through proper planning.
She said a great deal of effort was required to raise awareness about natural disasters and take preventive measures. Every individual should play role in helping mitigate the adverse impacts of natural disasters, she said.
She said the early warning system and rescue services were being upgraded.
