LHC moved to address demands of visually-impaired people

The court is requested to ensure their security and approval of demands

LAHORE (Dunya News) – A petition has been filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC) seeking approval of the demands of the visually-impaired people who have been protesting on The Mall for two weeks.

Advocate Rana Sikandar filed the petition. The petition highlights the ongoing neglect despite the clear court orders mandating job quota for the visually-impaired people.

The petitioner said multiple negotiations failed and some protesters, frustrated by their plight, had attempted self-immolation.

The court is requested to ensure their security and the approval of their lawful demands.
