'Please don't cry for me': Gaza child's will goes viral

Palestinian foreign ministry has shared the martyred child's will on X

GAZA (Web Desk) – Heartrending stories continue to trickle in from Gaza amid Israel’s relentless barbarism snuffing lights out of lives of innocent people.

In the latest story doing rounds on social media, the will of a 10-year-old girl who was recently martyred in Israeli bombardment has flooded everyone’s eyes with tears.

The Palestinian foreign ministry issued a statement on X revealing the will of 10-year-old Rasha Al-Arir.

Rasha Al-Arir and her brother Ahmed ‘embraced martyrdom’ in Israeli bombardment on their home in Gaza territory.

According to the foreign ministry, the parents of martyred siblings have found the will of Rasha Al-Arir in which she said if she were assassinated, they should distribute her possessions among the cousins.

In her handwritten will, Rasha told her parents, “If I were martyred, please don’t cry for me because it hurts me when I see you cry.”

“I want my dresses to be distributed among the needy. My books, copies and toys should be given to my cousins,” wrote Rasha.

She also asked her family to be polite with her brother Ahmed after her passing. The irony of fate was that she didn’t know her beloved brother also would be the target of the bombing and would not live longer than her.

In an earlier air raid at home three months ago, Rasha and her brother survived.

The will of Rasha is already viral on social media and people far and wide have expressed their deep sorrow.
