ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Traders in the federal capital Islamabad have decided to move the Islamabad High Court (IHC) against the protest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Blue Area Trader Union’ representative Raja Hassan Akhtar would file a petition in the IHC against the protest.
The application stated that a high power delegation was arriving to attend the SCO Heads of State Summit in Islamabad and the army had been deployed in the capital after enforcement of Article 245.
The applicant contended that the PTI protests would deteriorate law and order situation and distort national image on the global stage.
It was requested that the court to direct the government to free up Islamabad from demonstrators and expel them from the federal capital.
It was pleaded in the petition that Islamabad commissioner office must be obliged to ensure law and order.
