LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the Himat Card initiative for differently-abled people in the province.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, she expressed her gratitude for realisation of another dream, emphasising the inclusion of 65,000 persons with special needs into the mainstream.
The government has allocated Rs2.6 billion for the project and after every three months the funds will be increased.
Additionally, Himat Card holders will enjoy free metro bus travel.
Highlighting economic progress under the PML-N, CM Maryam criticised the government for inflation.
She also condemned PTI’s leaders for unrest and accused them of hindering public service.
