SHARJAH (Dunya News) - The ICC Women's T20 World Cup has officially commenced, with Pakistan set to face Asian champions Sri Lanka today (Thursday).
The opening match of the mega event would feature Bangladesh against Scotland, scheduled to begin at 3 PM local time. Pakistan's match against Sri Lanka would commence at 7 PM.
The national team has been rigorously training in Sharjah, focusing on both bowling and batting.
The practice sessions were conducted under the supervision of head coach Mohammad Waseem, alongside assistant and fast bowling coach Javed Khan, spin bowling coach Abdul Rahman, and fielding coach Hanif Malik.
Captain Fatima Sana expressed confidence, stating that while the competition is against the Asian champions, their preparations have been strong, promising an exciting match.
