ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Tuesday extended deadline for filing income tax returns by 14 days.
The FBR issued a notification on Tuesday, October 1, after the deadline expired on September 30.
An FBR statement said the decision to extend the last date for filing income tax returns was taken in a hurriedly call meeting which was presided over by its Chairman Rashid Mahmood on the request of business organisations and tax bar associations.
Citizens can file their tax returns till October 14, said the notification.
