LAHORE (Web Desk) - This year's monsoon has brought 51% more rainfall across the country compared to normal levels.
The Meteorological Department released data on monsoon rainfall in Pakistan from July 1 to September 30, 2024.
According to the figures, Balochistan recorded 111% more rain than usual, Sindh saw 108% more, Punjab experienced 48% more, and Gilgit-Baltistan had 2% above average rainfall.
The data also indicated that Kashmir received 21% less rain than normal, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa recorded 5% less. However, on average, the country experienced 51% more rainfall during the monsoon season.
