LAHORE (Web Desk) - The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has assigned significant responsibilities to the mentors of the Champions Cup across various academies.
All five mentors appointed by the PCB will guide players at High-Performance Centers.
Sarfraz Ahmed will be based at the Karachi academy, Shoaib Malik at the Sialkot academy, and Waqar Younis will serve at the Lahore academy. Meanwhile, Saqlain Mushtaq has been given responsibilities at the Multan academy, and Misbah-ul-Haq will oversee the Faisalabad academy.
Sources indicated that the PCB appointed these mentors with substantial compensation before the start of the Champions Cup.
The responsibilities of mentors would not be limited to the tournaments but would also engage in various cricketing activities with the PCB throughout the year.
