Hasnain and Arafat took three wickets each

FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – A stunning display of bowling performance by Panthers restricted Markshors from posting a big total in final of the Champions One-Day Cup at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, on Sunday.

Shadab Khan-led side dismantled Markhors for just 122 runs in 33rd over, thanks to the skillful bowling by Mohammad Hasnain, Arafat Minhas and Sajid Khan.

Fakhar Zaman tried to build a strong opening partnership but his partner Zain Abbas was dismissed for just 6 in early blows to Markhors. He made 46 runs, highest from his side as no most of the batters were removed before they reach the 10-run mark.

Hasnain and Arafat took three wickets each while Sajid Khan claimed two scalps.

Earlier, Markhors won the toss and elected to bat first against. The day-night match commenced at 3pm.

Both teams' captains and players are excited about the upcoming match. It’s noteworthy that the second eliminator match was canceled due to rain, allowing the Markhors to qualify for the final as they finished first in the group stage.

Before the final, the trophy was unveiled, and both team captains took photos with it.
