LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz emphasised on tapping all resources to boost tourism.
Sharing her message on International Tourism Day, she commended those having spirit for tourism.
She stated that Allah had ordered humans to observe and explore the Earth. Allah has blessed Pakistan with natural beauty.
Chief Minister Maryam said tourism enhances the natural abilities of a person. She hailed beauty of Punjab having enough potential for tourism.
She stressed that Punjab’s cultural, historical and natural heritage was an attraction for tourists from around the world.
She said measures are being taken for boosting religious tourism in Punjab. Religious places, historical forts and attractive valleys attract tourist.
She revealed plans to upgrade the infrastructure of Murree with innovation and the glass train project had been kicked off.
Highlighted Punjab’s achievement for introducing hybrid double-decker buses for the first time in Pakistan.
Maryam vowed to promote a positive image of Pakistan at global level with tourism.
