Section 144 imposed across seven cities of Punjab in wake of PPSC examination

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab government has imposed Section 144 across seven cities of Punjab in the wake of Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) examination.

The Home Department has issued the notification on the direction of the Punjab government.

The Section 144 would be enforced on August 28, 29, Saturday and Sunday across seven cities of Punjab.

The Section 144 would be imposed in the examination centers in cities including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur and D.G. khan. The restrictions in premises of examination centers would be implemented from 8am to 4pm.

No one would be allowed in examination centers except candidates and supervisory staff.

Movement of irrelevant persons within 100 yards of examination centers has also been banned in seven cities.

PPSC has established 25 examination centers across Punjab’s seven cities.
