Lahore expects temperature to reach 38 degrees Celsius

Lahore ranked second in the world for pollution, with an average smog rate of 179 recorded

LAHORE (Dunya News) - The weather in Lahore is expected to remain hot today.

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in the provincial capital is likely to be 27 degrees Celsius, with a maximum of 38 degrees Celsius. The current temperature is recorded at 29 degrees Celsius.

Data showed that humidity levels have reached 77 percent, with wind speeds recorded at 8 kilometers per hour.

The Meteorological Department also stated that Lahore ranked second in the world for pollution, with an average smog rate of 179 recorded.

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast hot and humid weather for most parts of the country during the next 24 hours. However, rain-wind-thunderstorm is likely at isolated places in Kashmir and surrounding areas during the night.

According to the synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country.

During the last 24 hours, hot and humid weather prevailed over most parts of the country. Bhakkar and Nokkundi remained the hottest places in the country on Tuesday with temperature surging up to 43 degrees Celsius.
