PTI plans to show strength in big cities

Imran Khan instructed party officials to mobilise people for protest

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) decided to hold rallies in the main cities of the country.

According to sources, an important meeting of PTI leaders was held in which it was decided to hold meetings in major cities of the country. It is said that after Rawalpindi, rallies would be held in Mianwali, Karachi, Quetta, and Lahore.

Sources in the party said that Imran Khan instructed the party officials to mobilise people for the protests, along with the rallies, there will be protests in various cities of the country to show solidarity with the judiciary. 

Rawalpindi rally

Also, the PTI formally submitted a request to hold a rally in Rawalpindi on September 28.

The application was filed by PTI District President Chaudhry Ameer Afzal and District General Secretary, accompanied by a team of lawyers, at the Deputy Commissioner’s office.

The request stated that PTI is the largest political party in the country and that holding a peaceful rally was a constitutional and legal right of every political party.

They assured that all regulations of the Deputy Commissioner would be followed and requested the issuance of a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
