ISLAMABAD (APP) - Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk on Thursday departed after the culmination of his official visit to Pakistan.
Additional Foreign Secretary (Europe) Shafqat Ali Khan and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Russian Federation Muhammad Khalid Jamali saw off the Russian deputy prime minister at the Islamabad airport.
During the visit, Overchuk, who was accompanied by a high-level delegation, held talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, besides meeting President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and others.

Besides, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Pakistan Mercantile Exchange and St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange was signed on Wednesday.
Pakistan also signed the Instrument of Accession to the MoU on Creation and Development of International Transport Corridor (Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan).
