LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz has stressed that keeping the environment was a collective social responsibility.
Sharing her message on International Clean-up Day, Maryam Nawaz insisted that clean Earth was inevitable for protection and survival of the environment.
Punjab CM urged to eradicate use of plastic and adopt sustainable ways to throw trash.
She revealed that environment friendly and sustainable measures were being taken under ‘Saaf Suthra Punjab’ program.Rural areas were being cleaned up for the first time in history.
Measures including recycling of trash, plantation and cleaning of public places are being done, she said.
She emphasised the citizens to play their responsibility as the Punjab government was taking action on cleanliness.
Punjab CM directed citizens to keep cities, villages and streets clean and play their role for protection of the environment.
Maryam Nawaz reminded that a clean Pakistan would guarantee a healthy and developed Pakistan.
