ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has urged people to play their role in curbing abuse and extremist tendencies from the society in light of the teachings of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The premier was addressing a ceremony held in Lahore today in connection with the Eid-e-Milad.
He said the Holy Prophet [PBUH] introduced public welfare system based on high standards of morality. He called for joint efforts to establish higher standards of morality in all sectors of Pakistan, including education, socio-economic, and commerce.
He said acting upon the teachings of the Prophet of Islam [PBUH] is the only way to success and a key for the solution to all the problems.
Highlighting importance of unity, the prime minster said division is the agenda of Pakistan's enemies and “we will have to foil such nefarious designs through collective efforts.
While highlighting the salient features of a Muslim society, he said said protection of minorities and vulnerable is a pre-condition of an Islamic civic life.
He said the Muslims of Kashmir and Palestine are rendering immense sacrifices to get independence. He expressed the confidence that the people of Kashmir and Palestine must achieve their rights.
