SHARJAH (Web Desk) - Sharjah Cricket Stadium is set to host its 250th One Day International (ODI) match tomorrow.
Known for hosting the highest number of ODI matches, Sharjah Cricket Stadium has hosted 249 ODIs since 1984.
The landmark 250th ODI would be played between Afghanistan and South Africa on September 18.
The ODI series between Afghanistan and South Africa is being hosted by the Afghanistan Cricket Board, with matches scheduled for September 18, 20, and 22.
Notably, after Sharjah Stadium, the Harare Sports Club in Zimbabwe has hosted the second most ODIs, with 182 matches, followed by the Sydney Cricket Ground in Australia, which has hosted 161 ODIs.
