(Web Desk) – Indian batter Virat Kohli on Saturday surpassed Pakistan captain Babar Azam’s record for most T20I runs.
Kohli achieved the milestone in the final match of the T20I World Cup 2024 against South Africa in Barbados as he smashed a 76 runs, helping his side set a challenging total of 177 runs for the rival team.
He has secured the second spot on the chart for the most T20I runs with 4175 scores as Babar slipped to third position with 4145 runs. Kohli has achieved the milestone in 125 innings.
Indian skipper Rohit Sharma stands at the top spot with 4231 runs. Ireland’s PR Stirling is at the fourth place followed by New Zealand’s MJ Guptill and Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan at fifth and sixth places, respectively.
