LAHORE (Web Desk) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has supervised the steps taken for cleanliness on the occasion of Eidul Azha.
Safe city cameras were used in Punjab for the first time to monitor cleanliness' efforts with the CM personally supervising the government machinery’s response.
At the tehsil and union councils level, cleanliness arrangements were ensured with almost 3.2 million special bags also distributed for the first time in the entire Punjab.
Meanwhile, the work of digging pits for disposing of dead bodies has also been ongoing. Apart from mosques, Eid gahs and imam bargahs, measures were also taken to clean roads.
Provision of doctors and other necessary facilities including water were also provided in the cattle markets.
