SUKKUR (Dunya News) – PPP leader Khursheed Shah appealed on Monday to both the government and the opposition to come together for the sake of the country.
Speaking to a group of reporters at his residence on Eid day, Shah stressed the importance of a strong and stable Pakistan.
He expressed the belief that protests in parliament, rather than on the streets, would be more effective.
The PPP leader lamented Pakistan's decline from its past role of leadership in the Islamic world, stating, "Pakistan was once a nation that assisted the Islamic world, but we have faltered."
Shah highlighted the critical role of stabilising the agriculture sector, noting its significance in Pakistan's economy.
Shah also expressed regret over the Muslim world's stance on Palestine, stating, "We are more than one and a half billion Muslims, yet we have abandoned Palestine.”
