Deputy PM invites President Erdogan to visit Pakistan

Praises Turkiye for hosting ministerial meeting on Gaza

ISTANBUL (Dunya News) - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Saturday met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The deputy prime minister called on the Turkish president after the conclusion of the extraordinary meeting of the D-8 Council of Foreign Ministers on the situation in Gaza.

He invited President Erdogan to visit Pakistan for the 7th high level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC).

Briefing President Erdogan on the proceedings of the ministerial meeting, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister appreciated Turkiye’s initiative to host the D-8 ministerial meeting on Gaza.

The deputy prime minister conveyed the congratulatory message of Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to Turkish president.

He thanked President Erdogan for his personal interest and leadership in enhancing Pakistan-Turkiye bilateral relations.
