LAHORE (Web Desk) - A woman gave birth to quadruplets – two boys and two girls - at Lahore General Hospital (LGH) on Thursday.
The woman and her four babies are stated to be healthy and stable. According to Gynecologist Dr Laila Shafiq, Hina Patras of Nankana Sahib was brought to the hospital in a serious condition.
Dr Khalida and Dr Ayesha Malik, duty doctors, conducted medical examination and carried out cesarean.
PGMI Principal Prof Al Farid Zafar appreciated the professionalism of the female doctors and nurses, who completed the complex operation efficiently and successfully.
He said under the directions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, free treatment facilities are being provided to the patients in this state-of-the-art hospital.
The parents and their families expressed their happiness over the birth of four children.
They thanked the doctors and staff for providing with best treatment facilities free of cost.
