SUKKUR (Dunya News) - A journalist was shot at and injured in a targeted attack in Baberlow Station here this past week, Dunya News reported.
Haider Mastoi was on his way home when unidentified assailants opened fire at him. As a result, he suffered bullet injuries. He was shifted to hospital in a critical condition.
He got five bullets in different parts of his body. Initial inquiry suggested that it was a targeted attack.
Police were investigating. This is the third incident of attack on a journalist in the current month.
Prior to it, a journalist named Nasrullah was shot dead in Mirpur. Similarly, Ashafq was murdered in Muzaffargarh in targeted killing.
